Underlying social dilemmas in mixed traffic flow with lane changes

A new cellular automata traffic model based on Revised S-NFS is established to consider a mixed flow system in which the maximal velocity of agents distributed, as case real fields composed compact vehicles, trucks, and buses. These vehicles are assigned two different strategies: cooperator (C), who remains his original lane, defector (D), undertakes lane-changing maximize own payoff, i.e., average velocity. In systematic series multi-agent simulations, we quantitatively compare characteristics default (where constant across all agents), systems (which permit distribution velocities), correlated–mixed flows, an agent with higher tends have D strategy whereas one lower C strategy. We discuss what kind game class underlying each system. Furthermore, study social efficiency deficit, index dilemma extent, for systems.
